SCANNING BY PRESSING THE SCANNER BUTTON

Pressing the scanner button scans the item, and then sends the image to

a software application or printer on your computer.

To scan with the scanner button:

1. Align the item with the arrow icon and insert the item, face down,

into the paper feed slot.

The scanner grabs the top edge of the paper and holds it in place.

2. Now press the scanner button.

The scanner feeds the paper through while it scans.

The item is scanned with the settings—such as color for magazine

articles, or black and white for pages that you want to fax—selected

in the OneTouch configuration dialog box.
